Family Support Services (FSS)

Family Support Services provide both advocacy and direct services to families of seriously emotionally disturbed and special needs children enrolled in MHA’s Treatment, Partnership or Children’s Case Management Services programs. Family Support Services are an array of formal and informal services with an emphasis on self-determination and family control. The Family Support Specialist makes connections with families identified from MHA programs as needing assistance and guidance in support and self-advocacy.

Is It For Me?

Are you a parent/caretaker of a child or adolescent with serious social, cognitive, behavioral or emotional difficulties? Are you or your child enrolled in programs at MHA? Do you need assistance accessing resources or support in the care of a special needs child?
